Litter Registration: We have simplified the process of Litter Registration which so often creates problems for those with purebreds having puppies. Parents do NOT need to be American Purebred Association registered in order for you to register a litter! Just submit two photos of each one of the parents (front and side views), the litter application and a fee of just $25.00 (non-refundable). Parent photos may be sent printed on standard printer paper if registering by mail or uploaded if you're registering the litter online. If the parents meet the qualifications of the American Purebred Association for their Breed, registration papers for each puppy will be sent to you and for the Sire and Dame if they have not yet been registered with the American Purebred Association at no extra charge. And there's more Good news: We do not charge a per puppy fee! You pay just $25 by mail or online to register a Litter. Once received, most Litter Registrations are processed and mailed out to you within 24-48 hours.
About The American Purebred Association: About The American Purebred Association: The American Purebred Association exists to allow for the registration of purebred dogs and puppies. To avoid the pitfalls that other purebred registries have experienced, the American Purebred Association requires photographic proof of a purebred’s characteristics. American Purebred Association registrations are not transferable to or from other Dog Breeding Clubs or Organizations. That's because our registration process is not based on the background of an animal, but its appearance. We feel this better serves the needs of many breeders and pet owners who want a Purebred to look like one, despite what a piece of paper might say. American Purebred Association Registrations are not a verification of pedigree, but rather a definitive statement of quality.
